M7161 Do You Believe In Magic?
I found this dress in an enchanted village, next county over. Just kidding, I made it. Using magic. You guys, where did July go??!! I mean, WHOA, right? I had every intention of finishing and posting this dress in July, but I ended up having a crazy busy month. My brother came to visit me in Bellingham; my best friend got married in Chicago; and I turned 29 somewhere in between (late July Leo, in case you were wondering). I was working on this dress at the same time as my Maid of Honor dress, and obviously that took precedence. So here I am, tardy but ready to play :) I am completely besotted with this dress. It seems like I've been looking for the perfect maxi dress for years, and the only way for me to have it was, of course, to make it. I am really impressed with this pattern- the shape, the fit, and the lines. Just really a satisfying make for me. It doesn't hurt that I used an equally obsession-worthy fabric- a dreamy, flowy, rayon that I picked up in Vancouver
